Following our Lord's command (Matthew 28:19-20), we baptize those who have trusted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Prior to baptism, candidates need to attend a baptism class. Here, the significance and mode of baptism are explained, and handouts are used to assist in study and consideration of Scripture. There will also be time to discuss your personal testimony, procedures for the baptismal service and an opportunity for Q&A.
The baptism class is a one-hour class that is offered on Sunday mornings. Please prepare a 150 word testimony and bring it to the class you attend. Use this handout to help you with writing your testimony. If you are interested in baptism, please register online. All adults, youth and children should fill out this form if interested in getting baptized.
Upcoming Baptism Classes:
All classes are at 8am in Room A201
As part of the baptismal service, the Video Department will pre-record a video of the candidate’s personal testimony of how God brought them to saving faith in Jesus Christ. Scheduling for the recording is done after the baptism class.
