Parenting is the biggest job you’ll ever have. At Immanuel, we want to encourage you to be the most effective parents you can be at each stage of your child’s life.
Child Dedication, parenting classes, and moms groups are available as resources for you as you walk this journey. If you are a single parent of young children, perhaps you could use the encouragement of our Mothers of Preschoolers ministry (MOPs). Their Mentor Moms are a great source of information and advice. Immanuel Bible Church Home Educators (IBCHE) exists to provide a biblically-based support system for Christian families who are involved in or who are considering teaching their children at home.
Woven Families ministry is a Christ-centered outreach to families who are considering adoption, foster care, or are already engaged in the process. Our Challenge Class ministers to people with disabilities, their caregivers, and family members.
Connect, our ministry to military families is a new initiative at Immanuel designed to raise awareness of our military through an appreciation dinner and service (Memorial Day weekend), a pictorial collage of our deployed heroes, and a welcome ministry Visitor Reception in the Atrium on Sundays. Volunteers are always welcome to participate in these offerings.
