The IBC wireless internet service is available to all but you must read and agree to the following terms prior to using the service.
If you are at least eighteen years old you may use the service. If you are under the age of eighteen years, you may use the service only after obtaining the permission of your parents.
You acknowledge that there are inherent risks to security, confidentiality and privacy of wireless communication and you agree that you are solely responsible for ensuring the security of your data and/or equipment used in connection with the service.
The wifi service having the identifier "ibc-public" is not encrypted. The wifi service having the identifier "ibc-secure" is encrypted. Regardless of whether or not your wifi connection is encrypted, all wireless traffic may be intercepted by others. You assume all risk and liability for all information actively or passively transmitted to and from your wireless device over the connection to the internet.
We recommend that you do not disclose passwords or credit card information while using an unencrypted wireless connection.
Use of the service is subject to all applicable local, state, national and international laws and regulations. These include, but are not limited to, laws relating to obscenity, copyright, trademark, defamation, the right of privacy, false advertising, harassment, theft and fraud. In addition to complying with such laws and regulations, you are expected to use your best judgement and to be respectful of others.
All non-encrypted, non-SSL web traffic is filtered by URL and page content. SSL web traffic is filtered only by URL. Our web filter is not perfect. Some web sites that should be blocked will pass through the filter. Please be aware of this possibility while accessing the web. If the filter blocks access to a site that you need to access, please read and follow the instructions on the "site blocked" screen.
Internet activity is logged and may be monitored. Misuse, unauthorized access or illegal activity may result in loss of access to the service or legal prosecution or both.
