Lead Me to Calvary
Friday, April 18, 7pm
This year’s Good Friday service is entitled, “Lead Me To Calvary.” We’ll hear the dramatized stories of those who were closest to our Lord during his Passion: Caiaphas, Peter, Judas, the Thief and others. The service includes music, drama and a celebration of the Lord’s Supper to remind us of God’s love demonstrated by the sufferings of Christ.
Childcare will be available by reservation for children ages 0-3 (Click HERE). Additionally, the service will be available in the Atrium for other families with small children.
Volunteers are needed: If you’re interested in serving in our childcare rooms, please contact Jenny Britton.

Easter Concerts | April 11-13

The resurrection has been celebrated in countless ways throughout the ages and it has been the central theme of the Church in every generation. The resurrection is the present hope of Christ’s followers and the eternal song of all who have gone on before us.
This year’s concert will be a multi-generational celebration as we bring together music from the 18th and 21st centuries. The first half of the concert will take us back to Christ’s sufferings, resurrection and promised return through the beautiful music of Handel’s Messiah. We’re accustomed to hearing the familiar “Hallelujah Chorus” at Christmas, but that stirring piece actually appears in the Easter portion of Messiah.
The second half of the concert will bring us up to date with twenty-first century songs of praise. The Youth and Adult Choirs will join forces with the Orchestra to lead the congregation in a joyful celebration of the resurrection.
