Our strategic vision here at Immanuel Bible Church is to present mature followers of Jesus Christ, who seek Him constantly, serve Him faithfully, and who share him boldly. Our team of trained counselors and volunteer caregivers serve to care for our elderly and infirm, bind up the brokenhearted, and encourage those who are encountering trials and challenges.
2 Corinthians 1:3-5 sums up our ministry well… “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as we share abundantly in Christ’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.”
In order to meet these needs, we offer the following facets of our outreach:
Counseling Ministry
The Bible declares that there is safety and victory in the abundance of counselors, “Where there is no guidance the people fall, but in abundance of counselors there is victory.” Proverbs 11:14. Our counselors are especially equipped mature believers, trained in Biblical counseling, with the practical skills needed to encourage, exhort, and demonstrate love to members of the IBC family.
