Registration
Yearly registration for AHG National is $40. Registration for both National and Local Troop will be completed online during the 2022/2023 season. The troop will invite the parent to register online through AHG Connect once they register locally.
Troop Dues
Our Troop dues are $40. This fee covers the basic expenses of your daughter’s involvement in American Heritage Girls. This includes standard weekly activities, supplies, fun activities, badge costs (up to 6 badges per girl) and to adjust costs for large events. You can pay your National Dues on AHGfamily.org and complete the National registration process there. Troop Dues are paid through the online form available here.
**Please note that there is a “Sister Cap,” which is a maximum fee set in place for families registering for National Dues. Transferring American Heritage Girls

Level Placement
Level placement is determined by age first, and grade second. The date cut-off is October 31st. If your daughter will meet the minimum age requirement shortly after the October 31st cut-off date, please contact us so that we may get in touch with our AHG National Representative about your individual case.
Pathfinder - ages 5-6 - Kindergarten
Tenderheart - ages 6-9 - Grades 1-3
Explorer - ages 9-12 - Grades 4-6
Pioneer - ages 12-14 - Grades 7-8
Patriot - ages 14-18 - Grades 9-12

Parent Involvement
American Heritage Girls’ national policy requires one parent to be registered and attend meetings with their child. Troop VA1115 pays for one adult membership per family. If you think both parents may be involved at some point it is best to register both, as only registered adults are allowed to attend troop meetings and troop events. This parent-participation approach is vital to the success of our troop, and the growth of our daughters. It is our desire to create the best program that we can, raising women of Christ. It is only with your help that we accomplish this. There are many opportunities to serve in, and out of, your daughter’s level(s). We are here to offer support and training.
