Our faith is meant to be practiced in community with fellow Christians.
Under the direction of Christ,
the body of believers is to be joined together,
growing in unity and love.
Just as love is the crux of the Gospel message,
it is also the key to building a vital and mature church body.
We are to edify ourselves in love -
promoting maturity, treating each other lovingly,
and serving as God calls us.
God has made each believer in a unique way,
designed to connect with others so that joined together
they can function as the body of Jesus Christ,
whose Spirit gives life to the members.
Join us at Sweet Sunday when deedee Collins will share Ephesians 4 on Growing in Unity & Love Through Christ. As we kick off a new year of ministry, we want to start by worshipping our Savior together and encouraging one another.
Our own all-girl worship band, Gloria Dei, will be back and will lead us in a time of worship together.
In addition, you will be able to learn about the many opportunities for Bible study at Immanuel and sign up for a group if you choose. Registration for our women’s Bible studies will open at Sweet Sunday this year. There will also be time to connect with friends and make new friends and of course to indulge in a sweet ice cream sundae bar and enjoy other delicious treats (including dairy and gluten free options.)
There is no cost to you, but we would love to know you are coming. (Sorry, no childcare will be provided during Sweet Sunday.)
